Deer Creek Energy Limited        

Deer Creek Energy Limited (www.deercreekenergy.com) is a Calgary-based oil sands development company (now part of Total) with interests in Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage (SAGD) and mining assets. Their working lease area is approximately 55,000 acres (20,000 hectares) located 70 km north of Fort McMurray, Alberta.  Deer Creek Energy required a safety orientation video and contacted SKB Videography to build it for them.  Using highly portable video equipment and a custom-made camera cover for cold weather shooting, the video was captured during 2 days of shooting at the remote site.  The final 19 minute video was delivered on DVD and also supplied as a digital file for streaming over the internet.
